The Bahamas is an island nation consisting of 700 islands, rocks and cays stretching from the south eastern tip of Florida USA to the eastern tip of Cuba. It is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the North and the Caribbean Sea to the south. This country has the distinction of being the first Mission field of the church outside of the United States having been first blessed with the Pentecostal message of God and the church in 1910.
The church in the Bahamas presently consists of 17 (seventeen) Districts, 60 (sixty) churches and 4400 + members. Another well-known feature of the Bahamas is its World Famous Bahama Brass Band which made its first appearance at our International Assembly in September 1938 and has been ministering in these meetings ever since that time.
