We believe there is power in prayer.

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. ACTS 2:42

The Bible says the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective, yet something amazing happens when two or more agree together in prayer. In Matthew 18:19, Jesus said, “If any two of you agree touching any matter on this earth, it shall be done.”

Get agreement on your prayer requests by posting to the prayer wall  or contact any of our national offices for prayer.

The Great Commission

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.  MATTHEW 28:18-20

Harvest has been the consistent call of The Church of God of Prophecy since 1994 when we “Turned to the Harvest”.  It was actually a realignment to our original call since the birth of our movement, we endeavour to reach the ends of the world with the Gospel of Christ.

Leadership Development

Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” MATTHEW 9:37-38

The key to reaching the lost is to better equip our pastors and leaders with the best knowledge and development so that we can engage in the harvest.  The Bible state that the “fields are white” and that there is a great need for “Harvesters”.   Our goal is to develop these “Harvesters” so that we can join the Master Reaper and participate in these last days.  Education, training, mentoring and many other tools are utilised so that we can succeed in these efforts.

Stewardship

“So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, ‘Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.’ 21 His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ MATTHEW 25: 20-21

Stewardship is utilising and managing all resources God provides for the glory of God and the betterment of His Kingdom.

The COGOP accepts this calling as God’s stewards to manage that which belongs to God. While God has graciously entrusted us with the care, development, and utilisation of his resources, we are responsible to manage his holdings well and according to his desires and purposes.

We are all stewards of the resources, abilities and opportunities that God has entrusted to our care, and one day each one of us will be called to give an account for how we have managed what the Master has given us. Therefore, it is with joy that we work hand-in-hand with God, utilising that which God had given us, to his glory and honour.
